Carling Cup Finals - Chelsea 3-2 Liverpool
Woohooo....!!!! our first cup since 2000(FA cup) and our 3rd league cup. Im super delighted. The whole of this entry will be typed in blue to honour Chelsea.
Here's a summary of how the game went:
Liverpool gt an early lead when Riise scored in the the 4oth second. yepp..it was v fast. i didnt even have time to take in the "atmosphere" of the game. Once Liverpool got the lead, Chelsea started to go forward and Liverpool defended deeper. Their defence were real good anyways. and surprisingly, 'keeper Jerzy Dudek was outstanding. He saved several great shots. So the first half ended up 1-0 to liverpool. in the 2nd half, Jose Mourinho fielded more strikers and attacking midfielders. He even took out Gallas(defender) and put in Kezman(striker). i guess he wanted to take chances. it's either liverpool score again or we score the equaliser.Oh ya..in the middle of 2nd half, Jose Mourinho was send off the bench. He was shouting at the Liverpool players and stuff.Im quite disapointed with his behaviour though. In the 80th minute, S.Gerrad of Liverpool scored..into his own net.So it's an own goal for us. It was a great goal anyhows. i kinda pity Gerrad but these things happen in footie and i dont really mind either 'coz he's doing us a favour. So we were back in the game. The game was streched to extra time. In the 2nd half of extra time, Drogba scored and then Kezman scored.so that makes chelsea 3-1 liverpool. 2
mins alter, Nunez of liverpool scored.chelsea 3-2 Liverpool. i was practically on my toes by then. I was hoping for the refree to blow his whistle. and when he finally did, i breathed a sigh of relief. we won!! I was super duper happy.
okayy..enough on footie.
ermm...im quite tired of typing..so i will stop here.
