"So, when is it?"

Picture of the day

caption: An example of a pelamin

I've just came back from my aunt's house. Was there to help out in the preparation for my cousin's engagement ceremony which will be held tomorrow. There was nothing much to do. We just wrap the souvenirs or berkat in malay. I saw some of the packages that will be given to the guy's side. The packages are all wrapped nicely. My mum also made some contributions. She made this pineapple tart packed in a small container. She made about 8 of these conatiners and arrange it nicely on a small basket. She also wrapped the individual conatiners with transparent wrapping paper with fake flowers and ribbons. My sister and i was asking why she bother so mcuh to decorate it when the people are just gonna ripped out the wrapping, throw it away and just eat the tart. My mum just rolled her eyes and said it's to make it look more attractive and nice. Oh well..But i guess if it's my own engagement i would also want everything to be done nicely.

Yesterday, my mum, dad and myself went to the Indonesian products exhbition and wedding exhibition, where they showcase the bridal stage, decorative bedsheets and other wedding accessories, at EXPO. The bridal stage or pelamin in malay, are all super nice. they are absolutely beautiful.
Anyways when we were walking around some people came to us to give out flyers and brochures on wedding gowns, stages and other decorative purposes. Most of the time, my mum will stop to listen to them and ask them questions. Somehow, some of these people got the idea that someone in the family are getting married. Which is technically true 'coz my cousin is getting engaged and will get married soon. However those people thought that i am the one whos getting married. They kept looking back at me when answering my mum's question. Some even asked when is the wedding date. I was like huh??. Hah! It was pretty funny. I havent even finish school. oh wait...i havent even reach the legal age to get married! LOL. it cracks me up. i told my mum to bring someone else if she ever wants to go there again. It's pretty embarrasing to be asked on such questions especially since im not getting married anytime soon.

Oh no..I haven't done my PBVA assignment. one of it was due yesterday. i actually already hand up the first 3 parts but dont know how to do the last part. I don't want to spend too much time figuring how to solve the questions. oh well..

anyway, i realised that i've been posting alot on marriage and stuff this past few days. Okayy..i will write on something else in the next entry.

Did YOU know?
Apple seeds have a chemical that turns to cyanide in the digestive system, but they are harmless as long as you don't chew them.
