throw the ball!

There seem to be lots of primary school boys playing soccer nearby where i stay this past few weeks. It's due to the school holiday i guess. I'm perfectly fine with them playing soccer there(its a not-so-open place in between two blocks, near to the playground and the exercise station aka the aunties hangout place). But i kinda fear those kids' lack of aiming skills. They seemed to kick the poor ball everywhere. And it somehow became a who-kick-the-hardest-and-longest game instead of a pure fun game of soccer. They were kicking the ball so hard! I had to take the longer route whenever they are playing 'coz i was afraid i'll be the victim of their careless and aimless kick.

A few months ago, this group of boys were playing soccer and the soccer ball actually hit my leg. Not realising that i was expected to pick up the soccer ball for them, i just walked away. They actually shouted at me for not picking it up for them. well, hello...since when was i their personal ball catcher cum thrower? So i just continue walking.(Okay, they didn't exactly shouted at me.They just commented. But i can hear their nasty comments. So that is equally as bad)

I understand that there is limited soccer fields. But i'm getting more and more irritated with them playing at that place. I'm a soccer fan myself so i also understand their passion for soccer and hence the need to play soccer everyday. But it'll be really really great if they could play safe soccer. No hard kicks and all that. They are playing at a neighbouring (and not-so-big) place afterall.I might even stay and watch them play once in a while. Yeah.Right. If they want to play "real" soccer with long and hard kicks, they should probably go play at a more open place. Correct?
