SuperDeeDuper
I've just learnt that the exam results will be out this Saturday. I just cant wait to see it and conclude if i have to take the Supplementary paper. The thought of re-studying for another paper is extremely sickening. Therefore, i shall not think about it till Saturday itself.
Last weekend was a good weekend, football-wise. Chelsea won 2-0 against Charlton, Liverpool drew 0-0 with ManU and Newcastle win its first match this season against Blackburn with a 3-0 scoreline. Now chelsea is still top with a 6 point gap with second-placed Charlton, who still has 1 game in hand. I didn't really pay much attention to the Liverpool-manU match but from my sister's "Ahhh"'s "Ooohh"s and "tsk"s i suspect that Liverpool has several chances but missed. But the most exciting scoreline is Newcastle's 3-0 win agst Blackburn. Before this match, Newcastle have only scored 1 goal out of their 5 matches. With the signing of Michael Owen, who happen to score one of the goals, i believe Newc will do good from now onwards. Speaking of footie, i've just signed up this football crazy manager game cum contest, which is part of ESPN/ StarSports. It's like you have to pick 11 EPL players from the list given in a 4-4-2 formation, pick a captain and guess the total goals scored for that week. Points will be collated according to your players' performances in their matches. Of course there is a prize each month and a grand prize. But i joined just for fun, knowing that the chances of me winning is slim. Anyways, the point is i've also made up my own league whereby the people i invite to join the league and myself can compete amongst us and see who gets the highest score each week. It's just a just-for-fun-thing. The purpose of me writing all this is to ask if anyone is interested to be involved in this. If you are interested, just let me know and i'll send the invitation to you. The more teams there are in the league, the better it is. I believe that my instructions to the game is unclear.
