About a week ago, there were a few articles in the newspaper about students cum bloggers who were fined or caned because they posted "bad stuff" about their teachers on their blogs. Most of these cases involved teachers who found these students' blog entries themselves. The article also stated that some teachers searched for their students blog by typing the students' name and their school in a search engine. Some teachers also typed their own name to see if anyone included their names in blog entries. I find it annoying and surprising that some teachers "spied" on their students' blog to check if they are being talked about. But i guess they have their reasons. In case you are wondering, nope, i do not have anything bad to say about my teachers in any of my entries. I'm guilt-free. The article mentioned that there are also some teachers who read their students' blog to be updated on their students' lives. And some students are aware that teachers may be reading their blogs as they themselves gave the site add to their teachers. Hmmm..
