I'll turn 19 in 2 days time. But I still have yet to receive any bookings from anyone to have a day out. How sad, right? Hee. It's okay. I do have a date with Chelsea though, when they play Manchester City tomorrow. The match is at 11pm 20 August (Aqilah's birthday!) but by the time it ends, it will be 21 August! This marks the 3rd consecutive year whereby Chelsea play on August 21. Chelsea won the previous 2 matches (against Birmingham in 2004 and Arsenal in 2005). So hopefully we will also win tomorrow =) Go Chelsea~!

Our latest signing is Holland international Khalid Boulahrouz. Another Dutch addition to the team. Wheeee~ Watched him play during the world cup. He's a pretty interesting player, quite a physical player. Someone like Edgar Davids or maybe even Robbie Keane. Am looking forward to see him and the other new players (Shevchenko, Ballack, Kalou and Obi Mikel) play.

Now, allow me to say my goodbyes to players who left Chelsea during the transfer period.

Eidur Gudjohnson (Barcelona): he was one of my faves when I first started watching Chelsea. Have played for Chelsea for 5 years. I have always like the gudjohnson-hasselbaink partnership. It's a pity to see him leave but he has been playing out of his position (from forward to midfield) this season. And truthfully, I doubt he will get much playing time if he were to stay. I sincerely wish him luck.

Asier Del Horno (Valencia): He has played in Chelsea for only 1 season. Was not too impressed with his performance; kind of uninspiring. He has had a few good games though. I am sure he'll be known as one of Chelsea's all-time handsomest player.

Damien Duff (Newcastle): I was sad to see him leave. It's just enjoyable to see him play. You can tell that he give his absolute 110%. I have only good things to say about him. Like what I told Sheena, if he really have to leave, I'm glad he went to Newcastle. I have always have a soft spot for Newcastle (Sheena's fave team) and AC Milan (Aqilah's fave team). So I will still be rooting for Duff in Newcastle.

Hernan Crespo (Inter Milan) : He's such a dependable player who have scored numerous times after coming off from the bench. I just like him la. He has a good vision (goal sense) and is often in the right place at the right time.
