Hired!


Be careful what you wish for. Because it may just come true.

Less than 24 hours after writing " I really do hope i'll be working soon" in my previous entry, I've secured a job. Alhamdulillah. So so thankful can.

Job post: Science CoE Coordinator
Place: Punggol Pri School
Commencement date: 23 April (Monday)

I'll share more about the job when i've started working. It sounds promising and i'm pretty excited, albeit a bit nervous.

Thanks to everyone who have dropped well wishes and also to those who have help with the job hunting. Thanks for the encouragements, advice, willingness to ask around for any lobangs for me, being there to hear me whine about how demoralising it can be to be interviewless and jobless, sending my resume to people in charge (although it didnt really come through, but thanks eh. heh. I appreciate it).

You guys are just the best lar. Being interviewless for almost 2 months was a huge bummer. I was paranoid and have this thought that there must be something wrong with my resume. However i come to realise that it's important to keep in mind that God does know best and everything happens for a reason. Just have to keep being patient and positive and continue trying. And it's always nice to have someone who voluntarily provide help in one way or another. But to have more than 1 person doing so is just super awesome! Its during these trying times that you'll get to really appreciate the meaning of friendship. =)
