Racial Harmony Day
Yesterday was racial harmony day but the school celebrated it on Friday. All students and staff were encouraged to put on costumes from the different ethnic groups. so we (Umrah, Muhaini and me) did.

It feels like primary and secondary school all over again. And some of the kids really took effort to look nice that day. They are so cute la, with the
songkets and
songkoks,
cheongsams and punjabi costume complete with scarf.
The school is implementing this speak good english movement campaign starting next week. We were given 5 stickers to give away to kids whom we think speaks good english. it's a class competition. So the class that accumulates the most sticker wins. To ensure that students are consistent in using good english, a sticker will be removed from the class if its students speak not-so-good english. Honestly, i have doubt on the effectiveness of this campaign but its so fun. The giving out of stickers, that is. It's like those "I'm attentive", "i'm observant", "i'm dilligent" badges with animals that we used to get during primary school.
