swing swing

Today was half day for the students and teachers so the school was pretty much deserted by 3pm. That's apparently good news for jakuns like me. I've been wanting to sit on one of the swings in the school (see picture above). Curiosity.
During normal school days I won't be able to sit on it without being looked at as a lunatic by those kids. Furthermore the kids rule the swings. So today, i did. Sit on it, that is. And it wasn't as pleasant as i expected. I felt nauseous after just sitting for 10 seconds. I wasn't even swinging vigorously. With the speed i swinged, i'd prob only cover 200m in an hour.
Yes, i am quite very prone to motion sickness. Evidences include:
- I cannot sit on bus seats facing the opposite direction of bus movement as that'll make me feel dizzy. I also always have to pop in anti-motion sickness pills before riding long bus rides or i'd feel sick. In addition, i also can't tolerate vehicles, especially buses, which stalled suddenly too many times.
- On the 2 plane rides I have been to, I vomited, out of dizziness, into the handy-dandy barf bags provided by the airlines.
- I experienced a terrible headache and nausea on the way to Pulau Redang by boat. Sea-sick.
- I felt nauseous after riding the viking at a theme park. And it took me a whole good 1 hour and a Burger King meal before i felt better. (rollercoasters are fine)
So i have a very high chance of developing motion sickness whenever there is, well, motion. But being swing-sick would bring my motion sickness problem to a whole new different level, wouldn't it?

Kids are adorable aren't they? Ok, old news. But i find the words that came out from their mouths entertaining at times. They are innocent that way. Like when i was conducting a P2 science introduction workshop last week, a kid say "I want to learn more about science" after the lesson on hand-held microscope. And another one said "I want to be a scientist when i grow up". I was reading a storybook on habitats and a kid asked "why do lizards come to our houses?"
Innocence at its best, i'll say.
