I still love fairytales. So sue me.

Impulsive:
(1) Inclined to act on impulse rather than thought
(2) Characterized by unthinking boldness and haste
(3)Acting or happening without apparent forethought, prompting, or planning
[Adapted from education.yahoo.com]

I think i've just bought something impulsively. With 'unthinking boldness and haste', totally. But is it true that it is only impulsive if you regret it? Because I don't regret buying it. At least not yet. I bought this:

A collection of fairytales - Beauty & the beast, Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty.

Yes, you can laugh now. You won't be the only one. Both my sisters think i've gone absolutely nuts. And i get uncomfortable when they ask me for the price. Hello, that is sensitive ok. I don't need the i-cant-believe-you-spent-that-money-for-that-thing look. That will cause me to go into major defensive mode. And say stuff like "but the book is heavy! and it has lots of pictures! and it has 6 stories!" hah, like that will justify anything.

It's like love at first sight ok. I did contemplate on whether i should get it. Muhaini convinced me that i should if i really want to. So i did. And i am as happy as a kid with 10 lollipops. It was however a little embarrassing when the cashier girl was asking another girl what category the book is in and she said "children". Weii, shouldn't it be classified under classics?? So age-ist.

I don't even know what made me buy that book. It must be due to all those fairytale talks with Henny la. We always somehow include fairytales in our conversations. Right, Princess Enn? =)

I've already started reading the Beauty and the Beast chapter. It's so freaking awesome. I'm planning to read The Little Mermaid next followed by Cinderella. Anyone wants to join me? We could read the stories over tubs of ice cream and packets of french fries. Total feel-good moments.

I think i'm floating.

And no i'm not childish. I'm just, eccentric. =)
