Science Club.
Handling the Science Club was never part of my job scope, until i was told to so some months ago. Strangely, Science Club is one of my favouritest task. Mainly due to the kids. Because they are such a joy to work with.
They are a noisy pain in the bottom most of the time. They made my throat hurt badly every Wedenesday. They annoy me by asking unnecessary questions every 2 minutes. BUT, they're lovely kids, really. And I'll miss them, alot. I adore my P3/4 science club kids (: After taking charge of them for about 8 sessions, they're practically my own. The kids from the PURPLE table. And I really dote on these 3 clowns. After taking this shot, i showed it to them and Jonas literally rolled on the floor and laughed out loud. Have i mentioned I'll miss these kids? I told them to do a serious pose. But a few clowns refused to listen. And they still do those peace sign. But i like how most of the kids took my instruction seriously. I'll miss them, i will. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Science Enrichment lessons with the P6 classes have also been tons of fun. This year's batch was so much better than last year's, in terms of responsiveness and attitude. I like la. It makes conducting the lessons so much more enjoyable. The lesson is on Genes and they had an activity titled "build an animal". It basically teaches the kids about dominant and recessive genes. Pretty interesting, i'll say. I asked this class if they had fun, after the lesson. Because i know they did. And it's really assuring and ego-building to hear a loud "yes!" (: Labels: kids |
