21st on 21st
My 21st was A.W.E.S.O.M.E.
Thank you so very much to those who played their part in making my 21st extra special - from the meetups, to the phonecalls, to the SMSes. You people are the sequins to my purple socks!

Us! We're a party of 7 in NIE. One couldn't make it for this meetup.
It's really amazing how each of us are significantly different from one another, but we fit like the colours of the rainbow (and i'm violet!).
And bowling was fun!
Dinner with PPS darlings
There are 2 things i miss about my previous job:
1) The kids
2) My clique of friends.
Nancy, the aunty who calls me aunty. I miss how she'd remind me the things that i have to do for the day because she knows I am freaking forgetful.
Mu, the quadra-lingual. I miss how she's protective of me at work and gives me honesty-slaps when needed.
Di, the no-nonsense go-getter. She's with me in the DISE course at NIE, so yay!

It was our first time mini-golfing. And it was SUPER. We didn't know Farhana has some talent in golf! I, on the other hand, was HORRIBLE at golfing. Horrible.
But i had great fun. So that's what matters (:

1) the fact that we have to take off our shoes and put on socks. because this way, my purple socks are able to see the world
2) the fact that they have purple golf balls
I really should have bought one golf ball, for keepsake. Plus, it was relatively cheap.
So silly, SFQ. So silly. Should have bought, should have.
My wish to mini-golf has been fulfilled. That's one thing crossed out from my wishlist of 126 wishes. heh.
And I had another surprise birthday cake!

Meetup with the Princesses
August marks a HAPPY month for the Princesses because 2 of us turns 21!
Aki on the 20th, and SFQ on the 21st. How fitting (:
We're happy on that Sunday. Definitely.
And we received pretty watches as presents!

We found a nice, cosy, cave-like space. So we plopped down and took some impromptu shots.

I like how this shot is just so girlfriends ish.
And i suddenly thought about those posters of images with motivational message. Those you see pasted on walls of schools and some clinics. Like "teamwork" and "courage".
So, i decided to make one myself.
heh. see, when SFQ was supposed to do school assignment, she choses to do this instead.
Girls, appreciate and keep hold of your girlfriends. You may think that you don't need them. But you do. You really do.
And I'm grateful to Allah for giving me special gifts in the form of girlfriends.
To ALL my girlfriends (from my sister, to my mum, to the princesses, to polymates, to NIE mates, to Lin, to my PPS mates, and [since it'd be never-ending if i list everyone] to the girls who I've been privileged to be friends with), you girls are total gems. <3!>
