Iftar Dates

I have had 3 iftar dates this month and they were all AWESOME. So here's a picture-post.

Rau's Birthday

Can girls ever successfully organise a surprise celebration? The person always somehow suspected that there is something going on before it happens. BUT, a great outing still. And Rau did seem a bit surprised.
I LOVE surprises!

School would have been much less fun without these girls.
I like how we are all of different ages but it doesn't feel like so.
These girls, they have hearts of gold. Maybe that's why they are in this career line (:
And I know I can depend on them to catch me when i fall. With purple-coloured net, no less.

And we went to the Henderson Waves bridge! I'd like to go to the Alexandra Arch, one day. It's in my top 100 to-go list. But for now, Henderson Waves is good enough. I was HAPPY.

I think i now have a fascination for bridges. It's lovely when you look down and see things shrinked to 1/3 its size.

Us, shrieking girls. We were so noisy, that people walked away from us. But talking and laughing out loud has its therapeutic effect, i think.
More meetups, please!

Iftar with Princesses!

We have known each other for at least 8 years. And it took us that long to have our first iftar together. As always, company was great. We were sooooo happy, it was silly. But i'd rather be silly and be with them, than be sane but be without them.
The adventure started as early as after Maghrib prayers, when the girls were running towards the bus stop so as to not wait another 20 mins for the next bus. Thanks for making me laughed out loud =D

Hei Sushi was a really good experience. I am not a huge fan of Japanese food but that day, all the food we ate were tasty. See that black plate there? Tasty.

The girl who i can never have lack of conversation with.
The girl who played games on paper with me during lessons.

And the girl who has helped me through the best and worst times.

Let the powers...unite!

I brought along some of our secondary school days pictures. And we realised how much we really have grown.
We winced at our sixteen year old self.
We laughed at high-waist skirts and funny hairstyles.

Tempura ice cream was YUMMY.

Then, we walked to Pasir Ris Park. (Aki, I still really like your bag!)

And just talked for over an hour.
We reminisced about the good old secondary school days. And went overboard a little when we talked about our primary school days. It's sad how i cannot remember most of the things that the girls can. But talking about the past leaves a tingling nice feeling in me.

Yay to lovely girls!

Iftar with DISE Mates
It's nice to have all of us together, outside school hours.
The SNO vs SST riddle-game.
The pseudo con stories *points finger at Siti*
The talks.
And the great company.
Let's have another outing, people!

Ok, i was rummaging through old photos and i saw this:
Try spotting me and Aki in this photo.
Can you kindly study these faces and let me know if you're in this picture, or if you know anyone in this picture. Because I would love to meet up with any of them and have a good chat about our kindergarten days and where everybody is at now. I can't even remember their names. And it's disturbing really, not remembering.
I remembered that the uncle's name who drives us to school is Cik Ahmad. And that his van is brown-white.
I remembered feeling sad when I found out that Aki is not in my K2 class.
I remembered calling Aki and excitedly told her that my younger sister's name is also Aqilah.
I remembered that we have to bring our own school books to and from school. As compared to kids nowadays whose books are kept in school.
I remembered the boy (top row, 2nd from left), who passed me my homework when I had chicken pox and couldn't go to school. And i remembered that he smiled alot.
I remembered during sports day, I had to ride on a girl's back, horseback-style, in a relay race.
But that's about it that i can remember.

Ok, im officially going to be late for school. And i have a presentation later. yay?
