I see the light
"You'll be so proud of yourself once you complete them!"
-- Aki
Aki, i'll vote for you for the person-who-is-always-always-right award. totally.
After handing up the 3 assignments on Wednesday, I can't help but feel proud of myself. 3 assignments in 4 days. It was madness. It was MORE than madness. But Alhamdulillah (and yay) i did it, i did it. I'm not so proud that i did it all in the very last minute. And i know I could have produced a much much better work if i started on those assignments much much earlier. People, doing all 3 assignments ALL in the last minute, is not to be proud of. Please don't model me. BUT, i'm locking my worried-self for now and letting my happy-self freeeeeee. I'm just glad I've completed those assignments.
So, 1 more to go. I've granted myself 2-days break before i start on this last assignment. I better kick some bottom for this one. 1 assignment in 4 days sounds better than 3 assignments in 4 days, aye.

Some people questioned my sanity in going out on Monday when i still have not completed those assignments. But truth is, I think i'd be
less sane if i were to go through with all those assignments and not meet these 2 lovely ladies in between.
Ladies, thanks for the much needed break. You both know i love the talks and laughter we shared (:

Ever wondered how i'm still young at heart at 21 and forever cheerful and upbeat? (hah. self-assumptions and portrayals, i know).
Try hanging out with a 1year 9month boy whose favourite TV shows include Thomas & Friends, and Bob the builder. And a 6year 11month girl who draws triangles as body.
My 2 little ones has provided me with endless entertainment.
Here's a video of Izz eating prata. Look at how he tears the prata into super small pieces and dipped into sugar. I reckon he liked the sugar more than he liked the prata.
I know prata is not very healthy, especially for a 1+year old body. BUT be assured that we don't feed him prata everyday. And eating prata helps in a child's fine motor skills i think, with all the tearing and the dipping. heh. ok, excuses.
And i'd also recommend allowing children to eat by themselves whenever appropriate. It helps them develop faster, i think. And prevent the child from being too dependent on an adult. Yes, allowing child to eat by themselves = messy kitchen & messy child. But hey, a 5minute clean-up of the kitchen (and the child) doesn't hurt.
Ok, video. Nisa's voice can also be heard in the background.

And here is Izz, half-face covered with sugar.

Nisa crawled underneath the table and of course Izz followed her. He always does.
I believe in giving children the chance to explore environment and things by themselves; allowing them to gain knowledge by experience, and not restricting choices. Of course you still have to be there; to ensure that the child's safety is not compromised.
