Witnessing Fairy Tales

Since i'm all for being a kid when i grow up, why not start the campaign off with watching the Disney 3 Classic Fairytales, correct? Front row seats too (:
Ah, i was a happy happy kid.

The brilliant stage set-up with pretty purple-blue-with-sparkles curtains.
Front row seats was simply awesome. Everything was crystal clear. Crystal.

And purple seats, of course.

With Sarah, my partner for the day.

Yes, i bought a gorgeous Belle purple mug.
I. Love. It.

So the show started off with goofy, minnie, donald and mickey reading the fairytales from a book.

First stop was Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs.
The prince was rather dashing, i must say.

And the evil queen/stepmother was convincing.
I love her purple coat though.

The mirror!

I love the dwarfs. The costume/mask are well-made. Doc, Sleepy, Bashful, Grumpy, Happy, Dopey and Sneezy look exactly like they do in books and the movie.

I find it rather funny that the dwarfs are taller than Snow White.

But they are incredible, still. And the heigh-ho song!

I'm a little disappointed that Snow White laid on the bench instead of a transparent glass coffin, after she ate that apple. A bench! But no matter. The Prince did come to rescue her anyway.
And, they live happily ever after (:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Next was Cinderella, who is pretty even in rags.

They did a pretty good job on the costume and make-up of the stepmother and stepsisters.

See, i told you the stage set-up was brilliant. They have those door-openings, with little surprises.

Anastacia wore pink-purple dress la. My favourite colour-mix! What a spoiler.
But they were convincing enough, with the shrilling laughter and voice.

Remember Cinderella's mice friends? And how they pronounced Cinderella's name as Cinder-rally.

The infamous fairygodmother. Picture is blurred due to smoke that came out. Effects were great.

So the fairygodmother worked her magic and gave Cinderella that beautiful blue dress. She went for the ball and met her prince!

Then the clock strike twelve!
And Cinderella left one of her glass slippers.
No worries though.
Prince Charming found her, and the slippers fit.
And yes, they live happily ever after.
Aki, we're watching Cinderella next Jan!! (:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Beauty & the Beast is next. The songs in this part of the show was really really good. "Be our guest" and "Beauty and the Beast" and the song about Gaston. Ah.

I did mention about the incredible stage props, did i?

I was a little disappointed that Chip, the teacup, was not part of the cast. But i guess there is only so much they can include within the relatively short period of time.
A shot when the cast sang "Be our Guest"
Sarah and I had has a tiny crush on the fork-guy, who happens to be Snow White's prince (i think).
Beauty, with Beast.

When i see such red roses, i am always reminded of Beauty & the Beast.

Gaston, who also played as Prince Charming aka Cinderella's Prince. Convincing acting, i must add.

When Belle told Beast that she loves him, the spell was broken and the Beast changed back to how he was before.
And...they live happily ever after. Of course.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I like Minnie. I really do. But i'd like her better if she didn't just went in front of the princesses and princes when i took this shot. She blocked Snow White!

When the show was ending, streams of papers fell down. Since we're seated at the front row (yes, i have to repeat that multiple times), many of the papers fell on us. And kids came streaming out in front of us to play with the papers.

We had TONS of fun, we did.
Disney on ice: Disney Princesses next March!
